| THIS WEEK’S EVENTS June 20 Thursday Night Cruise - Meet at Sears Parking lot at 6:00 pm and depart for Seward’s Folly at 6:45 pm a MSSRA event June 21 Summer Solstice Rumble 5 pm to 10 pm at scenic Mirror Lake • 49th State Street Rodders will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, and buns • Valley Cruzers will be providing the grill and condiments • MSSRA will be providing dash plaques, insurance, the permit, and soft drinks • Arctic Air Cooled VWs are providing paper products (Plates, spoons etc) • Anchorage Corvette Association will be providing a couple of cakes • And everyone attending brings chips, salads, side dish, or a dessert to share. The good news is it has been rescheduled for June 29!!! a KOOL-FM event July 21 Peanut Farm Car Show – The Peanut Farm is bringing back their ever popular car show on Sunday July 21 from Noon to 4 PM. There will be trophies, live music, beer garden, fun for the whole family! a Peanut Farm event NEWS IN BRIEF Engine Raffle – Tickets are now available for the 350 Chevy engine built by MSSRA members. Tickets are available every at every Thursday Night Cruise, at Breakfast Bunch, and many car events around town. Tickets are $20 each and only 200 tickets will be sold. Drawing will at the 35th Annual Jay Ofsthun Memorial Show & Shine on August 4th, 2013. Proceeds will go to Project Healing Waters Alaska.
