1969 Olds 442 - Heather Ann Heusser's project is a
1969 Oldsmobile 4-4-2. It was her father's car and sold
in her parent's divorce in 2001. Upset she thought she
would never see it again. Then in April 2008, on the
day her grandfather passed her now husband Shawn
found it on Craig's List and bought it back. Now home
the car is on a slow restoration project. The original 400
will eventually be rebuilt to stock and kept, but the car
will run a 455 BBO with the original Munci 4 speed
behind it. Speed isn't the goal, but rather bringing back
the car Heather remembers from her childhood.

Pictured here is the new Race Car being unloaded at
his house after a 18 month build time, a 2,700 mile up
the Alcan in January, an accident with the tow rig in
Whitehorse, a 3 week layover in Whitehorse, and
several tow rig break-downs along the way.
